Today, the Craftsman style has resumed its place as part of the permanent language of decoration as the ''Arts & Crafts'' movement in America has once again gained momentum through education regarding the quality of desirable furniture and through art exhibits and shows. In December of 1988, for example, at the Christi's auction house in New York City, a successful bid of $363,000 for a ten-foot-long Gustav Stickley sideboard announced to the world that the ''Arts & Crafts'' movement in America had fully been reborn.

Antique pieces from the period continue to command top dollars. Reproductions of the furniture pieces are available through several respectable manufacturers attempting to maintain the integrity of the style.

However, Strictly Wood's ''Mission Street Collection'' is the only ''Arts & Crafts'' style, mission furniture to our knowledge that is still Completely Hand Made down to the last detail. Even the handles and hinges are hand finished.
